Aldo Beolchini

Aldo is a keen venture capital investor with a personal mission to advance sustainable innovation.

As an entrepreneur Aldo co-founded and owns the NextEnergy Group, which he led over twenty years to become a global leader in the renewable energy infrastructure sector, with $4.5bn of AUM and over 2GW in operation worldwide. Aldo also founded NextSTEP, the sustainable technology accelerator. When he’s not structuring investment platforms he’s busy developing Nature Based Solutions through his venture Reforest-Italy (link) or tending his own carbon farming project in Italy.

Claudio Colombo

Claudio is a climate tech investor with a mission to accelerate sustainable innovation.

As General Partner of NextSTEP, the venture capital arm of NextEnergy Group dedicated to pre-seed ClimateTech investments, he leads a platform that has funded and supported 19 startups while backing founders building the next generation of sustainable technologies. Claudio also founded and actively develops ecosystem initiatives connecting startups, investors and corporates across Italy and the UK. When he’s not structuring investment platforms or mentoring founders, he’s teaching Venture Capital and Innovation, or strengthening an international network of entrepreneurs, mentors and partners committed to driving climate impact.
